The remake of the 1980 musical movie
Fame is getting a cast together, and so far there are nine actors who think they're gonna live forever. Notable names among them: Thomas Dekker of
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles (and the guy who played Claire's possibly gay best friend on
Heroes before leaving the show) and
So You Think You Can Dance's Kherington Payne. The Hollywood Reporter has more details:

If it hasn't already, the
So You Think You Can Dance tour might be making its way to a city near you soon! Last week, this season's top dancers came close to me in Oakland, CA, and I got a chance to hang out backstage with Chelsea Traille, Mark Kanemura, Katee Shean, Joshua Allen, and Jessica King. Do you feel that, too? That giant hole in your Wednesday and Thursday nights that used to be filled with glorious dance (and Nigel Lythgoe)? It's just one week since the finale, and I'm already suffering withdrawal from
So You Think You Can Dance.

Hooray! There's one very happy
So You Think You Can Dance contestant wandering the world right now, and I have to say I'm pretty pleased with the voters' choice. Then again, after a season like this, it was really anyone's game — so to find out the winner and talk about the finale, just read more.
