Besides Dan Quayle, Who Else Would Make an Entertaining DWTS Contestant? One of the things I like most about Dancing With the Stars is that it's not quite as humiliating as certain other celebrity (or, "celebrity") competition shows. It has a big audience, for one thing, and in general, it's a light-hearted, good-humored kind of show, as opposed to being slightly sad and uncomfortable to watch. Also, the show gets some pretty funny people to participate, and I'm always impressed with the celebs that are game for learning these dances and dressing in hilarious outfits.

Before we get to that, here are some great stories I didn't get to share on Wednesday:
  • One of the reasons I'm looking forward to the Private Practice panel: The show is apparently going to go through something of an overhaul.

Would You Compete With Your Officemates in a Singing Competition? When most of us think of singing our hearts out to our favorite tunes, we picture ourselves someplace where we can be alone, like in the shower, and not, say, in the office. But TLC is betting that some folks won't mind singing in front of their coworkers on the channel's new reality competition, The Singing Office. The show is described as "a tongue-in-cheek singing competition that pits different groups of employees against each other" and will be co-hosted by Dancing With the Stars alums Mel B.
