I admit I rolled my eyes when ABC promoted this week's
Desperate Housewives by saying it would
be about "the 'wow,'" but I have to give them credit: There were at least a few "wow"s on Wisteria Lane last night. Plotlines both old and new were resolved — from Rick's restaurant fire to Mike's near death — and even Dylan's story got interesting again, complete with heavy dose of ominous music.

Some pretty ridiculous things have happened over the past four years on Wisteria Lane, but a tornado? That's what's on tap on tonight's
Desperate Housewives, when a twister touches down right in the middle of town to blow everyone's secrets wide open. (I'd apologize for the bad tornado joke, but I think we might as well get used to them before this episode begins.)
ABC's official description of the episode says the tornado "will destroy homes and lives," but Wisteria Lane's residents have been doing a pretty good job on the "lives" part already this season, what with Mike's pill addiction, Bree's faux son, Gaby's messed-up marriage and Katherine's mysterious, um, everything.
