For us West Coasters, the MTV Movie Awards fun doesn't start until 7:30 our time, but the pink carpet is already teeming with celebs down in LA. Tonight at 7:30 pm on MTV you can watch the kah-razy antics known as the MTV Movie Awards, hosted by Sarah Silverman and aired live for the first time ever.
Just which titles are vying for the coveted Golden Popcorn? 300 is leading the way with five nominations including Best Picture, followed by Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest with four and Blades of Glory, The Devil Wears Prada and Borat with three each. 
Jumping on the recent trend of pushing release dates, the Transformers movie will open on July 3, and not July 4 as originally planned. This way, the movie will get people in to see it on the night before a holiday, upping their opening sales. So, Shia LaBeouf fans and those (like me) who are ridiculously excited for the Transformers movie can see it several hours earlier than originally planned. RSS Feed
