Box Office: Hellboy and Friends Kick Box Office Butt Guillermo del Toro's Hellboy II: The Golden Army won the weekend box office with an estimated $35.9 million, not only handily beating the current competition, but also surpassing the first Hellboy's opening weekend earnings ($23.2 million). Yippee! I'm happy for that ragtag group of superheroes.

Hancock Is a Box Office Superhero A surprise to no one (but still a delight to me, since I find this Will Smith movie to be pretty fun), Hancock won the crown at the box office over the Fourth of July holiday weekend. According to Variety, the movie "is the eighth Smith film in a row to open at No. 1 domestically, as well as his fifth — and most successful — Fourth of July outing."

Wanted: Overflowing With Blood, Bullets, Testosterone Wanted: Overflowing With Blood, Bullets, Testosterone A few things Wanted is not: quiet or steadily shot. It's also not all that enjoyable. But then again, I'm surely not the target audience for this film.

James McAvoy: First Wanted and Now Totally Requested James McAvoy got a loud and excited reception when he arrived at MTV's TRL yesterday, saying he had "the best reception of his career" as he walked into the studio. The Scottish hunk is still out and about promoting Wanted and he has happily admitted that he enjoyed being beaten up by Angelina Jolie in the role: "I really enjoyed the fight scenes, especially with Angelina. There's a certain amount of satisfaction that comes from taking a hit in the face and thankfully I took a lot."

James McAvoy: Totally Wanted I'm really looking forward to seeing Wanted with the gorgeous James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie – the non-pregnant one of the two was in Berlin today promoting the movie and looking rather dashing to boot! Though, next to uber-tanned co-star Thomas Kretschmann, he's looking rather pale... My girl Buzz has a little more info on the film – judging by the trailer this tale of hitmen and women looks set to be sexy and exciting!
