As Eagle Eye approaches, I got to thinking that the only thing young Shia LaBeouf has been up to since hitting the big time has been action movies. The former Even Stevens cutie got a huge break in the Summer blockbuster Transformers, acted alongside film legends in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, moved on to Eagle Eye, and has been working on the second Transformers movie all Summer.

The LA set of Transformers experienced some real-life action yesterday when an accidental fire broke out in a house where Shia LaBeouf had been filming. The cast and crew stood out on the lawn while the fire department took care of the blaze, and Shia even took refuge underneath his shirt. Shia may be becoming a big-time action star, but he was probably content to leave yesterday's drama to trained professionals.

When I first started watching this dramatic reenactment of the Transformers theme song, I was gonna make fun of these guys for being too old for this sort of thing. The summer's loud, raucus, action-packed robot movie is finally available for consumption on DVD, complete with all the special feature trimmings.

If Josh is feeling lonely promoting Transformers without the help of his co-stars, he sure is doing a great job of hiding it. Mr. Duhamel looked more than happy to be interviewed and sign autographs for his many screaming fans at the movie's premiere in Japan today.
Call me crazy, but I think I might be over Josh Duhamel. Now, he looks pretty typically smokin' here at a Tokyo press conference with Michael Bay -- and I do appreciate his Transformers vintage tee -- but he's beginning to seem a little boring. I mean, does his look ever, ever, change?
What are the odds that someone as foxy as this newcomer would have Fox as a last name? Hmmm... Megan Fox is literally sizzling in her Grecian-style dress at the Seoul premiere of Transformers.
What kind of toy is David Letterman playing with here? Watch him make this Transformer look like it belongs nowhere near a toy chest. Near hormonal, pimply, teenage boys-- yes.
