After the awards were given out at the
Q Awards ceremony yesterday, a bunch of the attending stars headed to a Mayfair pub to drink and celebrate. Tom Jones and Cerys Matthews left hand in hand at the end of the evening, while Alexa Chung and Alex Turner hopped in a cab to make their journey home. Kelly Jones brought his pint of Guinness outside to toast the photographers with a massive grin across his face, and the Ting Tings and Sugababes' Amelle Berrabah also popped outside to pose.

The Grosvenor House Hotel in London played host to the 2008 Q Awards yesterday,
presented by Alan Carr and attracting an eclectic mix of acts from the music industry. Coldplay were the big winners, and picked up awards for Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends as Best Album and also Best Act In The World Today. Duffy won Best Breakthrough Act at the ceremony, but picked up her award via video link.

My girl
FabUK is up at the
Manchester In Fashion event over the weekend, and last night she took a night off to go and see The Ting Tings at the Academy. Here's her account of the gig:
Manchester and music have become synonymous. Since the early '90s when bands like The Stone Roses and Oasis came out of this great Northern city the music scene has exploded and
The Ting Tings are continuing this dynasty.

The 2008 Vodafone Live Music Awards were held
at Brixton Academy last night, celebrating the best tours, gigs and live music acts of the past year. Mark Ronson and Kate Nash were honoured with the Best Male and Best Female awards, and Primal Scream picked up two awards for Best Live Act and Outstanding Contribution to Live Music. Emma Bunton took home the Spice Girls' award for Best Live Return, while Take That (sadly not present) were awarded the Tour Of The Year title — having been to it I think this was totally well-deserved!

The Nickelodeon UK Kids' Choice Awards nominations have been announced ahead of September's ceremony – which will be the second British KCAs – and children and teens across the nation are
voting for their favourites online. We saw
the US picks earlier this year, but the UK ceremony has a fun peppering of Brits we all know and love among the nominations.
Doctor Who is nominated for four awards, including one for David Tennant, and Catherine Tate and Freema Agyeman are battling American teens Miley Cyrus and Miranda Cosgrove (iCarly) in the Favourite Female TV Star category.

So I've told you about my experiences
with McFly, the
Skins cast and
Kelly Rowland at
T4 On The Beach, but now it's time to show you all the rest of my photos and sum up the day. A couple of my style icons Agyness Deyn and Alexa Chung both did their thing onstage at the event, Agyness looked fab (
do you agree?) in her checked shirt, which seemed to be the item du jour for all of the men who were there, from McFly's Harry and Dougie to T4 presenters Steve Jones and Rick Edwards.
The
45,000 strong crowd loved Agyness and there was a roar when she took to the stage to sing with Five O'Clock Heroes – she also brought her man Albert Hammond Jr to keep her company!

Tuesdays are big in entertainment-ville: Not only do all the new DVD releases
hit Netflix, but new music also pours into stores, including iTunes. So I take a spin through each week's iTunes music releases and pick out some albums and tracks worthy of a download. Here are today's selections:
The provocateur: Finally the album that
made headlines long before it was ever released is here, and getting
fairly good reviews.

I've already given you a couple of glimpses at Amy Winehouse (
and her Blake tribute) and
Kelly Jones at
T In The Park this weekend, so it's about time I tell you a little more about the Scottish festival! The lineup was awesome and included We Are Scientists, The Subways, Panic At The Disco, Feeder, Vampire Weekend, R.E.M, The Raconteurs and many more. Guitars were the order of the day as you'll see from my massive gallery from the event, with Jack White, Brendon Benson, Kate Nash, Newton Faulkner and many others strumming away onstage for the massive crowd.
