Welcome back to my
Buzz Gift Guide series for all the entertainment lovers in your life. This week is all about gifting your peers. Yesterday I suggested some
gifts for the Sex and the City fan, and today I've rounded up a few of those gifts that keep on giving: TV- and movie-themed t-shirts.

Midway through
Grey's Anatomy last night, ABC premiered a musical promo for the fifth season of
Lost. Set to The Fray's new single, "You Found Me," we see glimpses of scenes from last season (including huge things that I guess could be considered "spoilers" if you haven't seen the last season), like Kate with Aaron, Desmond on the phone with his "constant," etc. Mixed in with those scenes are flashes of the upcoming season (Juliet and Sawyer appear to be teaming up, and we're definitely not done with Daniel Faraday and Charlotte from the helicopter).

We've been hearing rumors (
and seeing funeral pics) about the death of a major character on
Gossip Girl for a little while now and I think most fans of the show (including myself) can probably guess who it will be. I'm not saying who my guess is but if it comes true it probably won't be much of a surprise to anyone. Time will tell.
Check It: Season Five Preview For Lost Here we go: a preview for the next season of Lost, which starts up in February 2009. The first part of the preview is a montage of certain plot points we've learned in the past, setting us up for some new footage we can look forward to in season five.

The first part of the preview is a montage of certain plot points we've learned in the past, setting us up for some new footage we can look forward to in season five. After the fourth season with all the Oceanic Six stuff, the next season appears to deal with those six going back to the island:
Jack: "Everyone we left behind, they'd die too if I didn't come back."

Though he asserts that it probably won't ever happen, JJ Abrams recently said in an interview that theoretically
there "could be" a Lost movie after the series ends in 2010.
I imagine it would basically be like one long episode explaining any unsolved mysteries from the series, but do you think that would be necessary or interesting once the show is over? Are there enough
Lost fans to make a movie worthwhile?

As great as
Lost has been, ABC has had a hard time finding another show to pair with it. The Nine? A bust.

These days, any show that makes it all the way through its first TV season is something of a rarity. A show that succeeds long enough for five seasons is practically a miracle — especially if it's a show that also gets popular buzz, critical acclaim, and industry awards.
But in 2004-05, we TV viewers somehow got lucky.
Tonight's premiere of
Fringe got me thinking about creator/executive producer JJ Abrams and his pretty stellar track record on television.
In the past decade, Abrams has created or co-created four shows (
Felicity,
Alias,
Lost, and now Fringe) and executive-produced two others (
Six Degrees and
What About Brian). Many of those shows had ratings success and/or significant buzz, and all of them (well, except maybe Six Degrees) had vocal fan followings.

I thought I geeked out when I saw (and devoted much time to making)
Mario Cubeecrafts, but now they're really trying to kill me with the cute — check out these new papercrafts of
classic TV characters! Pictured here from left to right, we have Pamela Anderson in Baywatch, Earl Hickey from My Name is Earl, and Dr. Jack Shepard from one of my all-time fave TV shows,
Lost.
