You know,
the reviews for Disney's
Beverly Hills Chihuahua were not as bad as I thought they might be, so that coupled with the fact that it's a family film meant that the movie about little talking dogs took the No. 1 spot at the box office over the weekend. The top dogs brought in a seriously impressive $29 million.

Shia LaBeouf proves he's box office gold once again with the No. 1 movie this weekend,
Eagle Eye, also starring Michelle Monaghan and directed by D.J. Caruso.

The story of Big Brother watching and controlling all of the helpless citizens in
Eagle Eye might be more effective if it weren't quite so preposterous. That said, this movie intends to thrill and entertain, and it succeeds on all counts. It holds your attention with all the plot twists and the bombardment of explosions, the kind of explosions that make a certain audience cheer.

As
Eagle Eye approaches, I got to thinking that the only thing young Shia LaBeouf has been up to since hitting the big time has been action movies. The former Even Stevens cutie got a huge break in the Summer blockbuster
Transformers, acted alongside film legends in
Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, moved on to Eagle Eye, and has been working on the
second Transformers movie all Summer.
If there are things going "boom!"

The action thriller movie
Eagle Eye will be landing in theaters this Friday and
E! Online had the chance to sit down with the leading stars from the movie, including Michelle Monaghan, Billy Bob Thornton and Rosario Dawson, to talk about the technology from the movie and the role it plays in our everyday lives. It sounds like it has a riveting plotline — I can't wait to go see it!

A dapper Shia LaBeouf kept his injured hand in his pocket leading the way at the premiere of
Eagle Eye in LA last night. You all
aren't huge fans of Megan Fox, but the sexy siren held her
Transformers costar's hand as they walked down the red carpet. Shia's costars in the movie at hand last night, Michelle Monaghan and Billy Bob Thornton, looked beautiful and creepy respectively.

Shia LaBeouf looked cute and clean-cut back on the set of
Eagle Eye for some reshoots in LA on Monday, but it wasn't until after filming that he melted our hearts. At the end of the day, Shia gave a very special treat — a big hug — to a young fan that was waiting outside his trailer. While Shia seems to be working overtime lately to maintain his new superstar status, it makes us happy to see that all his fame hasn't gone straight to his head.
First Look: Shia LaBeouf in Eagle Eye Woah. The teaser trailer for Eagle Eye is dark and intense right off the bat, as Shia LaBeouf's character Jerry is immediately set up to look like a criminal, though he's actually innocent. The FBI doesn't believe him, of course, and now it appears that the people who set him up have further plans.
