Those whippersnappers have once again snapped up the box office crown. Over the Halloween weekend, High School Musical 3 got top marks at the box office for the second weekend in a row, this time bringing in just over $15 million. According to Variety, this pushed "its worldwide total to an estimated $146.8 million after 10 days in release."

We knew High School Musical was a huge television hit but now it's a bona fide silver screen success. The third installment of the perky Disney musical bonanza scored the top spot at the box office over the weekend, earning an estimated $42 million. For any Saw (or Saw 2 through 4) fans out there, this Thursday some AMC theaters are showing a Saw marathon just before the fifth movie is released this Friday. Will you check this out at a theater near you? I know many people who like the Saw movies (or at least the first one) even if they're not huge fans of the horror genre itself.
