Last night at the 2009 Critics' Choice Awards in Los Angeles, actresses Eva Longoria, Penelope Cruz, Kate Beckinsale, Angela Bassett, Kristin Scott Thomas and Evan Rachel Wood all arrived on the red carpet with their hair pulled back in chic updo's.

Angelina Jolie decided to go for a swept-up sleek ponytail, something we don't typically see on her when she's making a formal appearance. Out of all of these hairstyles, I like the Penelope's classic look the best and Evan's drapey and too-thick tendril the least.

2009 Critics Choice Awards took place in Los Angeles celebrating the stars of the silver screen. Many of Hollywood's biggest names got dressed up and hit the red carpet. One of the most emerging trends that I've noticed (beyond
credit crunch supporting floor sweeping gowns) is the knee skimming dress.
Eva Longoria is all about natural beauty in her short and sweet turquoise frock. Her dress has beautiful gold beading which adds interest to her neckline and waist. A yellow clutch and nude pumps pull everything together.
Eva Longoria Parker provides a burst of warmth during the wintry awards season. Her cheeks have a sun-kissed glow, and the shimmery shell shade of her eye shadow is similarly summery. Looks like she's ditched the false lashes and
complicated curls of her recent looks, opting instead for a simple, beach-glam look.
Trend Alert: New Year, Long Waves OK, I know it's nothing all that earth-shattering since long waves have been in fashion long before the Farrah Fawcett days. But this New Year's Eve, it was all about the soft cascading curl. Whether it was a more refined look like Ashlee Simpson and Eva Longoria Parker or tousled and undone à la Molly Sims and Chloë Sevigny, the look was still sexy.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony's marriage being on the rocks includes details of a night Eva recently spent in Vegas with Marc. It doesn't look like Eva is too stressed, as it was probably nothing worth blinking an eye over and hopefully won't get in the way of either couple's lovely holiday.
Celeb Style: Eva Longoria Eva Longoria was all ruffles and smiles at the opening of the Conga Room in Los Angeles. Her black top was gorgeous, but try to avert your attention from those oversized hoop earrings, which were in opposition with her more masculine watch. The skinny jeans up the feminine factor, though.
The Conga Room opened in LA last night and some celebrities joined in on the party. Fresh off of a
day at the park with Honor, Jessica Alba chatted up Baron Davis. Eva Longoria spiced up her jeans with a ruffled shirt and got to celebrate the fact that she has a job for
a few more years.

obviously extended new long hair, she looked beautiful in her blue dress. The actress can afford to be buying more for herself and others this
