Drop Dead Fred is a 1991 comedy film released by New Line Cinema and directed by Ate de Jong. Rik Mayall stars as the title character, the imaginary friend of Elizabeth, played as an adult by Phoebe Cates. Drop Dead Fred was mine and all 18 cousins of mine all time favorite movie growing up...it was so different and hilarious! Imaginary friends, wish I had one growing up! haha, sort of, not really.
