Bono and his omnipresent shades made a 13-year-old boy's day — no, life — when he invited him up on stage to play guitar at U2's concert in Boston this past weekend. It's ritual for the band to invite someone up to play during the show, so Brian Hartman made sure he was ready to potentially be that person — he brought a sign that said "I play guitar" and practiced a few songs with his dad, a huge fan of the band — and it paid off.

Bono called Brian up onto the stage, and the energy coming off the boy is totally electric. Bono asks him if he knows "Angels of Harlem," which was one of the songs he practiced, and he immediately starts strumming the chords as soon as the guitar is in hand.

Watch Brian totally jam out with the band, and see what the ever-generous Bono does for him after the song's over — as if shredding on stage with U2 wasn't enough material for an epic party story already!
