If you're in need of a great cry (and we all are every now and again), the official first trailer for Freeform's remake of Party of Five will definitely do the trick. Unlike how the '90s family drama followed siblings dealing with their parents dying after a tragic car accident, the updated version utilizes a more timely tragedy: the Acostas' parents are deported back to Mexico for being undocumented, leading to a distressing split with their five children.

The emotional trailer follows the kids as they band together and learn to cope with the separation, and as the oldest, Emilio (Brandon Larracuente), fights to keep them together against threats to split them up by social services. Emily Tosta, Niko Guardado, and Elle Paris Legaspi also star as the other Acosta siblings. "[Mom and Dad] managed with a lot less than what we have," Guardado's Beto says in the trailer. "They figured it out, and so will we." A premiere date for Party of Five has not yet been announced, but the series is expected to debut in the Fall. Watch the new trailer above!
