Drake Gave a Shout-Out to Degrassi and Nina Dobrev at the AMAs, and We're Freaking Out

Drake definitely hasn't forgotten his Degrassi roots, and he proved it when he took to the stage at the American Music Awards in LA on Sunday night. After Nina Dobrev and Julianne Hough presented him with best rap/hip-hop album, he proceeded to give a shout-out to his alma mater by reminding everyone that he and Dobrev actually starred on the hit Canadian series back in the day. He may be an award-winning rapper, but he'll always be Jimmy Brooks to us.
