Carrie Has Full-Circle Moments With Samantha and Mr. Big in the "And Just Like That" Finale

The "Sex and the City" revival has reached its finale. During the "And Just Like That" finale episode, which aired Feb. 3, Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) had full-circle moments with both Samantha Jones (played by Kim Catrall in "SATC") and Mr. Big (Chris Noth), who died of a heart attack during the premiere.

First, Carrie goes on a second date with math teacher Peter (Jon Tenney), and she allows him to kiss her at the end. The kiss lingers on her mind as it's the first time she's kissed anyone since Big's death. To clear her head, she recaps the date to Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte York (Kristin Davis) before ultimately deciding to text Samantha for advice. "I kissed a man," she texts Samantha, who quickly responds, "The first of many. How was it?" Carrie responds, "It wasn't Big," and Samantha jokes, "So, it was small." The pair then vow to talk "soon."

Carrie Lays Mr. Big to Rest in Paris

Carrie gets lunch with Big's brother, who suggests she lay her husband's ashes in their family's crypt in Connecticut. Declining, she says, "That's a lovely offer, but I need to think more about where John might want to be before I decide."

In a dream, Carrie is in Paris looking at the bridge over the Seine River where she and Big rekindled their relationship in the "Sex and the City" series finale in 2004. She takes it as a sign to scatter his ashes there.

Noth was originally set to make a cameo in the "AJLT" finale, but his scenes were cut following multiple allegations of sexual assault, "TV Line" reports.

Carrie and Samantha Reunite in Paris

After scattering Big's ashes, Carrie texts Samantha, who was revealed to be living in London in the premiere of "AJLT," and asks if she would like to meet up. "I'm in Paris. Want to meet for a cocktail?" Carrie texts Samantha, who responds, "How's tomorrow night?" "FABULOUS," Carrie sends back. Of course, Cattrall does not actually appear due to the actor's wish not to return.
