Finest Film Folk At Empire's DrinksAfter the Empire Film Awards ceremony there was an official drinks reception for the winners and guests, where we spotted a few more faces. Agyness Deyn (don't you love her outfit?), Jaime Winstone, Alfie Allen and Chiwetel Ejiofor showed up, as well as husbands, boyfriends, wives, and girlfriends (including Matt's pregnant Luciana) who had escaped red carpet duties, and no doubt a few who attended the Olivier Awards (also in Grosvenor House!) instead.
Stars Shine At The Empire AwardsThe Empire Film Awards ceremony was held last night at Grosvenor House, and some top quality stars were there to pick up gongs as well as announce the winners. Matt Damon was there to pick up Best Film for The Bourne Ultimatum, Ewan McGregor picked up the Empire Icon award, and Sam Riley took Best Newcomer for his performance in the excellent Control (which also took Best Soundtrack).
Ewan Gets His Kilt On For CharityEwan McGregor was handsomely dressed in a kilt last night at Not Another Burns Night in Covent Garden, with fellow Scot Sharleen Spiteri on his arm. Edith Bowman, Martine McCutcheon, Jasmine Guinness, KT Tunstall and Jonathan Rhys Meyers also showed up for the charity event, yet none really managed to outshine the delish Ewan!
