Buzz and I both were super excited for last night's episode of Gossip Girl, so I was a little bit disappointed by the lack of drama. Plus, it was a little too close to The OC's Cotillion episode, right? I mean, with a little bit of Sex and the City's Bunny MacDougal mixed right in. Plus...duh duh duh, cliffhanger ending. So lets get to my thoughts:
- Wait, wait, before we get into that, don't miss Fab's fashion quiz, Geek's tech quiz and Bella's beauty quiz on last night's episode. How close were you watching?
- Soooo, is it bad that I really don't like Allison Humphrey? Or, for that matter Jenny Humphrey? She's kind of a brat all the time these days. Meanwhile, love love love Lily Van Der Woodson.
- Yay for the return of Chuck! More on that in a sec...
To read the rest of my thoughts just read more
- So let's just jump right to the end — where was Chuck flying to? Is he running away from his broken heart or is it part of a larger revenge plan?
- Speaking of Chuck, as much as Blair wants to she just can't resist can she? I kinda feel bad for her, though we all know it's about to get extra messy when Nate inevitably finds out.
- And, did Nate all of a sudden grow a spine? What gives? He was starting fights, Ryan Atwood style, in the middle of fancy events. He was being aggressive seeking out Blair. He was creepily winking at Chuck while making out with her. Ewww on that last one.
- Grandma CeCe is an evil one, eh? Though I bet Allison Humphrey would have sold all her paintings in a second and kept Dan from going.
- Is Grandma CeCe sick, or no? I know she admitted to making it up in order to lure Serena to the Cotillion, but at the end she still had all her prescription bottles....hmmmmm.
- Lily Van Der Woodson is awesome and her speech to Dan was the kind of thing that made me nerd-out and cheer in my living room. Speaking of Lily, the plot thickens with her and Rufus. He found out that she was paid to stop seeing him and he realized he should have fought harder for her. Next up, double dates with Dan and Serena? Eww, again.

So, what did you think about the episode? Were you liking the slightly more independent Blair and Nate, or are you glad that they were back together at the end? Are you sad for Chuck? Where is he going? Do Serena and Dan bore you a little bit (admission: they do for me) or are you just as smitten with them as they are with each other? How did Jenny think she was going to fix Blair's dress? Next week, the return of Mr. Waldorf with his Euro lover!

The entire last 15-20 minutes of last night was awesome.

Loved it all! Well, except for Jenny because she's just getting really annoying. Aww poor Chuck, though. And thought that Dan and Serena were just too precious together at the end of the episode, with Lily looking on!
And after hearing The Pierces on this episode, totally downloading the 2 songs!!
