The film world is buzzing about reports that Leonardo DiCaprio is "in talks" to play Hugh Hefner in Brett Ratner's biopic of the Playboy founder. When I first heard the news about Ratner's project I couldn't think of many actors who could portray Hefner, and DiCaprio certainly didn't come to mind. But now that I think of it, maybe he could handle it. What do you think?
By the way, that's Hefner in 1978. Weird, huh?

i hate that this dirty old misogynist bastard is getting his own biopic. it's bad enough that there's a weekly chronicle of his menage a trois with women 1/4 his age, but to glorify him and his outdated lifestyle of objectification makes me even more nauseous. he should be played by jack nicholson--a creepy old man just like him.

I think Leo could do it. I could also see Jude Law, even though he makes me projectile vomit Isn't it a little earlier to do a biopic on Heff? Not to sound morbid, but I think it'd be more appropriate to do it after his death. Just an idea!

Leo could play him. Leo is good at adding depth to the characters he plays. I hope he chooses not to. I am not a big fan of Hefner.
