This was tough. Eventually went with Steve Carell, but could easily have chosen Jason Segel for the reasons Zivanod states above.

I went with Seth Rogen, but if I had two votes the second would go to Russell Brand. He cracked me up every time he came on the screen in Sarah Marshall.

5
Robert Downey Jr. all the way. He's true talent! Next was Russell Brand

6
Most of the laugh out loud moments in 'Zack and Miri' was due to Craig Robinson. I love him in the 'Office' as well.

7
I chose Robert Downey Jr because I thought Tropic Thunder was absolutely hysterical. But it was close with Jason Segel. He was so funny in Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

8
Russell Brand, Paul Rudd or Jason Segal. Too hard to choose

I heard that tropic thunder was racist and full of low-brow humor and didn't see it because it got so many bad reviews. I really like Paul Rudd!

Paul Rudd. But Franco in Pineapple Express really pleasantly surprised me. Sad to say, I am so over the Seth Rogen thing.

Robert Downey Jr. with Franco in a close second.

I chose RDJ because I loved Tropic Thunder and Iron man! James Franco was amazing in Pineapple! QUESTION to Gregwashere what was Robin Williams in this?

James Franco is such a comedic gem! His funnyordie.com videos always get me. And he's rather easy on the eyes as well

17
Hard choice, but I went with RDJ b/c I love him and am so glad that things are going well for him again.

Gotta go with Craig Robinson! I absolutely loved him as Darryl on The Office and he was hilarious in Knocked Up, Zack & Miri and Daddy's Little Girls. Whenever I see him in a movie, I know a good laugh is always gauranteed.

i LOVE russell brand. i know that a lot of people didn't like what he did at the VMAs and i don't think that it was the best representation of him - but otherwise - i think that he's really funny!

Hands down, RDJ. He was unbelievably hilarious in Tropic Thunder, but it was also great acting.

I said RDJ, because 2008 was his come back year. he was funny in Tropic Thunder and can't wait to see Sherlock Holmes when it comes out. There are a lot of good actors on this list, Paul Rudd was good in Role Models and Will Ferrell is always funny.

Michael Cera, I haven't seen Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist but he was hilarious in Juno so I doubt he was anything less in that.

Hmm, it was a tough one. I went with Jason Segel cause he is consistently funny on HIMYM and was great in Sarah Marshall (writing and acting).
