
Upon taking a listen to Fergie's cover of Heart's "Barracuda" for Shrek the Third (which opens this Friday, May 18, by the way), I'm a little perplexed. Fergie definitely rocks out, but the song sounds completely the same as the original "Barracuda," so I wonder why they didn't just use that one? , so I was VERY reluctant to hear this. But you're right, Buzz. This sounds EXACTLY like the original. If I didn't know better, I'd think this was just an alternate take, with Ann Wilson singing as usual.
