It's been such a long wait for the third season of Big Love. Thanks to the writers' strike, the HBO drama won't return till January — almost 18 months after it was last on TV.
But there are finally some real signs that we're getting close to the premiere, including the first couple of promos that HBO's rolled out over the past week or so. The first is creepy and moody; there's no dialogue, just the haunting sounds of the Black Keys song "Lies" while some seriously dark things take place in the brief video clips. The second includes interviews with several cast members talking about how the show has been "amped up" for the third season. Here's hoping that whatever we see in January makes this long wait worthwhile. well - i'm really sad cause i was in love with the show for the first season, and because of the time that it was on TV i missed a lot of the 2nd season, but i guess it means that i still have plenty of time to catch up before season 3 starts.
