Is Entourage Still Fresh — Or Stale?

Ari Gold and the gang won't be leaving our TV screens anytime soon: HBO has just renewed Entourage for a sixth season. The episodes should start filming next year and air in Summer 2009.

Entourage has done a lot of skewering of Hollywood in these past few years, and it doesn't seem like it's ready to wind down anytime soon — at least according to Jeremy Piven, who said after winning his third Emmy that he could see the show going on. Do you think Entourage still has something to say?

I think this season is definitely on the upswing after last year's mess. At least all the characters aren't totally despicable anymore.

It's still seems to be a bro show. A bunch of dudes being dudes apparently. I like the episodes that give you the impression you are seeing what it's "really" like behind the scenes of major Hollywood movie deals. I still watch it occasionally.

Still fresh. This season has been really strong and has left me constantly wondering where things are going go, after last season's more or less obvious climax.

I still enjoy Entourage, and I think they can still do a lot with it. And watching Jeremy Piven as Ari Gold never gets old for me.

I still love Entourage. I am in love with Jeremy Piven. It definitely stands out as one of the best shows in a sea of crappy shows on tv. Cheers to Entourage!

Just when I think that I'm tired of Entourage, I get sucked in again. Yeah, it's still fresh and funny. It took time for me to warm up to it during the first season because I had to warm up to all of the characters. J.Piven can be annoying at times. Dude, calm down we know you can act, just don't overact!

it's ok i guess - i think that there's a lot that's really funny about the season but there's also a lot that's kind of dull, so i think that i'm on the fence about it - hoping that something good happens in the next couple weeks.

I thought it was going downhill after last season's lackluster plot but the last episode (with the magic mushrooms) was just completely awesome. I honestly thought to myself "damn! this is getting good again!"

I still enjoy it. Most of the cast is so good (especially Ari, Johnny Drama, Roger).
And Adrien never gets stale to me. Embarassed

Last season was a little crazy, but so far nothing too interesting has happened...

always thought it was stale. a bunch of rich, unlikable characters in an unrealistic setting. not too original of an idea if you ask me.

"unlikable characters in an unrealistic setting"

Its based on Mark Wahlburgs real life experiences in his quest for fame!
