I remember when the Kids Choice Awards debuted in 1987, but Nickelodeon's big event is still going strong with the green slime. This year's awards were held Saturday night in Los Angeles and hosted by Justin Timberlake, proving that the KCAs are without a doubt a major Hollywood happening.

The show is also becoming a valuable place for actors to promote summer kids' movies. As TMNT and Harry Potter have proven, we should never underestimate the buying power of tweens and teens. (Just look at "American Idol.") Nominees included everyone from the expected (Christina Aguilera) to the hilarious (Charlie Sheen — you know, because he's so wholesome).
