It doesn't seem very interesting. To me at least. I think I would probably only go and watch it if I am pressured into watching with friends.

i think these two guys are pretty funny, so I will give it a chance. But I can see how it would seem offensive...

Then again, I think it's just kind of following in the "footsteps" (however bad) of Bussom Buddies, the movie about the guys pretending to be girls to live in a sorority house (can't remember the name), and the sitcom where the friends had to pretend to be married to live in the apartment (can't remember that name either).

There ought to be a whole genre name for this kind of a comedy. But I will leave that up to someone more clever than me.

I'd go see it for the comedy this duo will pull off. However, this movie just might be an eye opener. If the government made gay marriage legal, then straight people wouldn't have these "domestic partner" benefits to exploit!

This reeks of marketing. Can't you just just see some marketing exec saying during some meeting, "Ok guys, the whole pretending-to-be-a-woman-for-marriage-benetifts thing is played out. I need something hip and contemporary." "Sir," some underling replies, "how about instead of one of them pretending to be a man we have two straight men pretend to be gay and apply for domestic partnership benefits?" "Ship it!" Would you really pay $8 or whatever to see this in theaters?

Also, I'm pretty sure there's no such thing as a movie which is awful but for the presence of Adam Sandler. I might be alone in that opinion, however.

This is exactly the type of movie that I have no interest in seeing, and then The Hubs will catch it on TBS two years from now and love it and then insist on buying it and watching it all the time.

Huge Sandler fan. So I will probably be seeing it. Ok, so I for sure will be seeing it. I can see how it could be offensive, but I don't think it's meant that way.

I think it looks hilarious, & even though people might think it might cause a whole bunch of controversy, they`re just poking fun, just like every other movie does.

As someone who is gay, it doesn't offend me. That's not to say it won't offend some, but I think it opens up a whole realm of political commentary. Like PrissyLilBadAss says, if gay marriage was legal than there wouldn't even be this premise for the movie. The one thing I do think could happen, is that people will now start saying that tons of real people are doing this, it's not just a movie. I think it looks funny and I'll probably go see it.

I hate Adam Sandler, and I hate the idea of this movie.
