I never knew this was a book. I can't wait for the movie because I'm a HUGE Michael Cera fan! I'm going to pick this book up soon! Plus, I love books that take place in one night, it's much more exciting.

bibliophile — I'll probably do a mystery at some point, for sure, and as for classics, we read Revolutionary Road back in March, and I'm sure we'll do more. The Book Club is relatively young still — I think this book is our eighth — so we'll certainly get to more genres in the future. I love hearing from the book lovers around here, so let me know if you have any suggestions, preferences, etc.

I didn’t get a chance to read Revolutionary Road when it was a buzz book club pick, but I am definitely planning on reading it (thanks for bringing it to my attention!). I’ve heard great things about The Amnesiac, The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society and Suite Francaise—all are books on my ‘to read’ list. Two books I love and plan on re-reading soon are Rebecca (such a perfectly haunting book for the chill of October) and The Time Traveler’s Wife (just in time for the film, which I’m dying to see).

Also, if young adult fiction is a genre you're considering, I hear Coraline is absolutely fantastic. I currently have it on hold at my local library.
