The Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist Trailer Makes Me Happy

Eeeee! I love Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist already. Michael Cera stars as Nick, the bumbling, unlucky-in-love teenager (who's also a guitarist in a band — geeky-hot!) who's still hung up on his ex-girlfriend. But then Norah (Kat Dennings) asks Nick to be her temporary boyfriend so it looks like she has a date, and it works out well for both of them when Nick's ex-girlfriend sees them together and becomes jealous. From there, Nick and Norah have a long night of strange, funny adventures and, as the trailer declares, "every night has a playlist."

There's music and comedy and young love and Michael Cera. What more could you want in this sweet, teeny romance/comedy? Nick and Norah come to theaters October 3. To watch the very cute trailer, read more.

Huh. I just read the book a few days ago and this looks VERY different. But I didn't love the book, so maybe this will be better. Funnier, at any rate.

Ah, so excited for this! I LOVED the book, and the movie looks great even though some things have been changed around, like Norah asking Nick to be her five-minute boyfriend instead of the other way around? No matter, I'm sure this'll be great fun Smiling

This film looks like so much fun and the trailer brought me quiet a few laughs. Michael Cera is one of my favorite actors, he has a charm that many actors sometimes lack.

i think that this looks like a nice cute light movie which at times is what we need since sometimes there's just a lot of 'heavy' drama in theaters. i'm sure that it'll do well for them, and everyone loves michael - so that's a step in the right direction for them already.

Looks utterly adorable! The screaming ditzy blond annoys me, but I love rom-coms and I love Michael Cera.
