Three contestants, three songs each, three chances to show they could be the next American Idol. This year's top trio — the two Davids and Syesha — battled it out on Tuesday night for a spot in next week's Idol finale. Which of the three do you think will be going home before the big event?

I'm getting so sick of David A. He turns everything into an adult contemporary song. Give me a break!

I really like Syesha (not as much as David C., though), but I think she needs a Broadway career, and in order to get right to that, she can't win, and she will probably be the one leaving this week. I think David A. has too much of a fan base to send him home, but he really should be the one to go this week. Only his first song was any good last night.

There's no way that Syesha will become the next Idol. The two Davids will battle it out to the end.

Like so many others, I too am sick of Archuleta ("this hand holds the microphone, this hand serves the pizza ..."), but I think his fan base is proactive enough to send him to the top 2. (And yes, I did gag a little when I just wrote that.)

I'm pretty sure that the two Davids are going to be the Final Two...since more people seem to support them.

I agree with the Davids in the final two. I just want to point out one thing - did no one notice that David A, when he sang Chris Brown's song - MESSED UP THE WORDS!!!!!!!!! Right near the beginning - he misplaced a line, forgot some words and mumbled to get back on track. I cannot believe none of the judges picked up on it, or if they did, let it go. I guess when you are the golden child on AI you can get away with it. I makde me so angry b/c if it was Syesha or David C they would have said something.

Haha, misshouston...You're so right about David A's hand thing! (I never noticed that before)

Alas, I think Syesha's time has come. If I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times...David Cook is going to win. He might not be exactly what AI is all about, but he's got the hook that everyone is looking for after Daughty's HUGE success.

Geez, you guys are really ragging David A! He's a kid, cut him some slack! I didn't realize all of you could get up and sing in front of millions and be so perfect!

I would definitely buy David Cook's cd. Not so much David A. In the beginning he was adorable but now... I'm bored of him. David C ftw!

Perry Como, oh my bad, I mean David Archuletta is boring. He is unforgettable. Everything he sings sounds the same even when he tries a Chris Brown song. IMO the producers think the same thing by picking a Dan Fogelberg song. Even Simon said it was a song for a 90 year old.

Now for who do I wish would go home? David A of course, but who do I think will go home? Syesha Sad

Oh and I am not saying David A can't sing, I am just saying he is predictable and boring. If he wins, his teeny bopper fan base will tire of him and IMO, 10 years from now, he will be on VH1's One Hit Wonders - Where Are they Now?

I agree with Lisa. Archie is a good singer but he bores me to tears. He's got a wonderful voice but no stage presence.

Am I the only one who thought Syesha was really good last night? I'd like to see her stay and David A. go.

I'd like to see David A go, but I think Syesha will get voted off. I mean I like David and I think he's a good singer. However, I just can't see him as a recording pop artist. He doesn't use the stage area very well and 99% of his songs are ballads. Plus his song choice for the 2nd song?!? I mean c'mon...

I really liked Syesha last night and think she was be fabulous on Broadway, but the David's are going to be in the finals, Cook because he is amazing and going to be so successful and Archie because he has this fan base that even though he proved last night he cannot pull off a modern pop song the girls think he is cute, but can he please find a personality!!!

Probably will be the 2 Davids-yawn. This whole season bored me anyway so I don't really care who wins. David A. is def. the most boring of the bunch. David Cook was so good at first w/ his originality but now I'm sick of hearing the same thing from him all of the time. Syesha will do fantastic on Broadway and would do much better w/ that then being the next Idol. David A just belongs at theme parks singing with bugs bunny.

It should be the two Davids in the finals, but who knows? I really don't care about this season of American Idol.
