  • Survivor a thriver. Survivor showed it can still pull in big numbers this week, becoming Thursday's most-watched program with just over 13 million viewers.
  • Tough law. The premiere of Canterbury's Law was just OK for Fox on Monday, pulling in 7.6 million viewers — but the show skewed older, finishing fourth in its time slot among the key advertising demo of viewers 18-49.
  • Top Chef's cooking. The season premiere of Top Chef brought in 2.3 million viewers for Bravo, up 11 percent from last season's premiere.
  • Lost hits a new low. Despite a great episode, Lost recorded a new season low in viewers on Thursday. It still won its time slot, but it brought in a below-average 11.9 million viewers.
  • Lewis in the black. The premiere of Lewis Black's Root of All Evil was a winner for Comedy Central on Wednesday. Like Top Chef, it also got 2.3 million viewers, making it the highest-rated premiere on the network since Chapelle's Show began its run in 2003.

Canterbury's Law was okay, nothing special, but I'll give it another shot.

if only 1.1 million more people watched the 'most watched' thursday show than lost, i'd say not a lot of people are watching tv period.
